First Meeting & Upcoming Events

Hey guys! The first meeting was such a success, we had a great turn out. If you couldn't make it this is what we covered:

• Please try to pay your dues as soon as possible. The $10 will help cover food for shows, supplies, and other events throughout the semester.

• Day in the District - Museums in Fort Worth will be free for one day only. Parallax members are planning to carpool to the event Saturday the 22nd. They'll be meeting in front of Oak Street Hall at 10:00am. Here's a link to the website if you want to learn a little more about the event http://www.fwdayinthedistrict.org/index.html

• OUR NEXT SHOW! Parallax members will have an opportunity to submit work for our next show at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center. It opens November 3rd with the opening reception November 9th at 6pm and will last until the 29th. 

Requirements:
-Must be a member of Parallax & in good standing with the organization
-Must submit digital images by Friday, Oct 13 at 4pm
-Pay $5 fee
-Work must be framed
-More info to come at second meeting!

• And last but not least we're gonna be having a fundraiser at Applebee's! This will be an all day event! On September 26 take a flier (they'll be in the photo lab) to Applebee's and they'll donate 15% of your purchase to us!
